Dr. Mammad Mirzayev

Mammad Mirzayev holds a PhD degree in Chemical and Petroleum Engineering from the University of Calgary (Canada). He earned his BSc with high honors in Petroleum and Natural Gas Engineering at METU (Turkey). Research interests of Dr. Mirzayev include Reservoir Connectivity, Production Optimization, Geothermal energy, CO2 sequestration, Model Predictive Control and Reservoir simulation. He was a Wintershall Dea Postdoctoral fellow at NTNU (Norway). He is Canada First Research Excellence Fund (CFREF) Research Associate working on the CCS project in the Western Canada Sedimentary Basin. He is a member of the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Alberta.
