Prof. Nazim I. Mahmudov

Nazim I. Mahmudov received the M.S. degree in mathematics from the Baku State University, Baku, Azerbaijan, in 1980, and the Ph. D. degree in mathematical cybernetics from the Institute of Cybernetics, National Academy of Sciences of Azerbaijan, Baku, Azerbaijan, in 1984. From 1980 to 1993, he worked with the Institute of Cybernetics, joining then the Department of Mathematics at the Eastern Mediterranean University, Famagusta, T.R. North Cyprus. Currently, he is a Professor of mathematics at the Eastern Mediterranean University. His research interests include controllability theory; qualitative theory of ordinary, functional, and impulsive deterministic and stochastic (fractional) differential equations; approximation theory; and special functions. He published over 150 research papers that are frequently cited. He is (was) on the Editorial Board of
